I am a photographer and nomad, drawn to the places where ordinary life meets something larger — a festival at the edge of a river, a ridge where the sky is too big to hold, a creature that has agreed, briefly, to be seen.
Nomadic Travellers began as a personal journal and grew into something I wanted to share: a record of years spent moving through the world, looking for the photographs that could not be planned.
My work focuses on three themes: Nature — landscapes at their most honest and uncompromising. People — faces and moments at the edge of the crowd. Places — the architecture of the living and the ancient.
The writing, when it comes, is an attempt to explain what the photographs cannot — the cold before the light came, the waiting, the things that happened between frames.
